nVidia GeForce FX 5700LE problem.

A couple days ago, I bought my nVidia GeForce FX 5700LE, and everything was awesome in Halo, then I started messing around with config, and it messed the graphics up, so I put it back to the def's, that, for some reason, made it worse, so I updated the drivers, and it was fine, but, today it stopped showing all the sparks and dust, like from nade explosions, the chain gun on the hog, guns, and dust from the wheels on the hog. I rolled back the driver, that didn't help, I installed the drivers from the cd, that made it worse, so, anyone have any idea of how to fix this? Oh, and I would like to have uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling it a last resort.

Might want to try getting the original config file(s) back on there. That might've done it. And what's so bad about uninstalling and reinstalling drivers? Only takes a few minutes for me. Although it is kinda annoying to do it in VGA mode.

Well, you'd think reinstalling the drivers from the cd would help.
