Desktop video capturing

hey i was wondering how kurt and hell and a few other ppl made movies of 3dsmax and stuff. I no fraps is for in game stuff but what program or watever do u need to make a HEK video tut...??? plz tell if u no

I'm sure fraps can work on the desktop too. I've seen Camtasia used in a lot of videos that I've seen, might want to try those.

Fraps doesn't work on a desktop, only some games that go Full Screen or something (DirectX?)

Correct, FRAPS only records directX rendering.

i think you might be able to find a desktop recording application somewhere on google...but be prepared to use your virus scanner...lol

http://www.techsmith.com/products/studio/default.asp download camtasia their but make shure u got a pretty good comp/gfx-card or it will slow down a bit...its trial for about 30 days where u need 2 pay $299 for it which is fullsh!t...
