Looking to buy photoshop

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

I don't have photoshop but I'm guessing you should probably go with the latest version. It would have all the latest bugfixes, features, etc etc...

7 donesn't slow down the computer (unlike cs) and 7 is cheaper.
CS all I see new is the fibers option.

cs has a great new thing called layer comps, probably best for a graphic designer but can be used for many things, it allows u to set up your layers (size, sha[e, color, and location) in different arrangments, so like if you had a client or just a project for school you can set up the project and have 100 different looks to it but with only one save instead of 100 and all u have to do is click on the one you want to show and then click on the next to show your client different variations or for a project for school be able to choose which is the best and be able to look at them closly and easily. Theres alot of new color pallette stuff, also when saving in cs you can have it a universal save to be able to flawlessly open it up in other cs programs like illustrator or imageready, etc. But if you are just doing things that dont need those features the 7 is great. If you are going to buy it, and you are a student, try looking for online school book stores, they will have the program most likly over 50% off the regular price.
