HELP ME!!!! MY MOD KEEPS GETTING THE DANG EXCEPTION HELP!

I have tried to do the pistol rocket mod and it gets exception data message how do I fix this???

Okay i did the Tutorial on Hex editing by making a pistol shoot rockets. But i put the map in the folder started the game and got a server set up but when i tried to shoot the pistol it exited HaloCe and gave me the "Gathering Exception Data" thing.

Not tutorial but i did a search on home page for "Hex Editing"

You cant mod haloCE maps and make a server or join one, the server recognizes that its modded and wont let you create, so instead if you want to mod either go to halo PC or just screw around on your lan

I have to run the modded map in haloPC no CE??
And i dont have LAN set up

No, im sayin just play Halo Pc(if you have it) if not then instead of creating a server online, go to lan when you click multiplayer and follow the steps to setup a server that only you can play on...

i was and it would give me an exception error trying to play the map in HaloCe so i tried the map in HaloPC and in HaloPC it says my map bloodgulch.map is corrupted

taht is bec- the maps in haloce and in halo pc are different, so if you modded a map in halo ce and then it didnt work there, (which it can if you do the lan thing), and then you tried to move the same map to halo pc, it WONT work.. You have to mod a halopc map for pc only... If you have anymore questions, my AIM is Grunt1287 talk to me there and ill help...

umm i got HMT v3.5 and it says this error message on startup about application not initalizing properly

That is because you have to download .netframework and install it... Go to google and search for it

.net framework lets you use .net apps like Halo Map Tools.Its by Microsoft so you can trust it.

Ok one more question...What are the a10.maps and the d30.maps and all the rest of the letter/number maps??
