How do i change .RAR files to .MAP files?

How do i change .RAR files to .MAP files?

i downloaded a CE map and it is in the form of castel2castel.rar...i need it to be castel2castel.map...how do i do that...or even better, how can i download a map and get it to work on Custom edition?> :?:
no thoughts what-so-ever...so nothing is going to be here...

ok, first you download a map and then you extract the files using winrar, which can be downloaded here(its the top one 3.40)http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm and then you have to right click the .rar file and click extract files... Then a folder will appear and you will have the .map :wink:

it isnt my computer...and all i do all day is play paintball and skateboard...i just had extra cash so i bought halo...and yes...i bought an alien ware pc, the best i could... :roll: ...

its easy: go to www.rarlabs.com

then dl winRAR

then open it up and use teh directorys to get to ur haloce maps folder and unRAR the files so a .map file is created. then just delete teh .rar file and ur done. and user created content can only be used on CE [except for a few pc mods out there...]
