That sounds awsome. Do you think on the sky texture it would be good or bad to put small things in the sky that are covie ships and human ships.
Just very small becuase after all the should be one or more hundred miles off the surface of the planet. THey dont have to be animated just small cruiser shapes and human ships. Also would a stealth probe be good too, the one with the mysterious comunications related to the crystal.

yea, Diana is played by my mom, and then theres also a big load of marines, infantry, and navy for the war radio. These are played by me and my friends.... as well as many clips inserted from the marines squabble page at bungie.net from halo pc. the voices will be backed by ambient battle audio, which i have found here and there. there's also rdaio shows here and there around town featuring myself as the barry white style dj 'michal'. i hod lots of fun recording a lot of these. everything has been edited in either cakewalk 2004, sonar3, sound forge, or adobe audition, to give credit. pirated? nooooooooo.........

ok, which one of you guys has been IMing my highland post like crazy?! That's right, I know all about your hijinks, Mr. 'Australian'. I know all and see all. Tell me, for if not, I will become mighty and powerful and smite thee down into a pit of nothingness! But seriously, that's cool. Didn't know my stuff was in australia. Tell me about it. What's it like there? What's your name? My name's Andrew. I'm from Canada. Who were you sending it too? Doesn't one of the animation guys at Bungie come from Australia? I know the two Canaimators are from Canada, actually near where I live. Anyways, write back, or PM me!
huzzah! my search for glass is complete! I finally have the infinite knowledge to proceed in my map! if anybody else wants to know, basically you name the material "whatever%-" , without the quotes and you can name it whatever (doesn't have to be whatever.) the % makes it doublesided (which is essential, and the "-" makes it glass. Thanks to gearbox for helping me out on that one. if anyone really wants a good answer to a serious question, go there; like the mob, they take care of you right.

the 'bloody' maps are on their way to completion. i hope you're british. yea, i like the idea of both sunny and night-time skies and lighting. I decided that the map will be sunny, because that's the way i want the city viewed, and it's the correct scenario time from the book. I have been thinking about releasing a night-time version though to put full use to the streetlights and shaders...
hey hey. I've got two new things for the people who have been asking for updated stuff, and for everyone else interested. First is a pic of Washington Blvd. in Cote. (I'm Canadian, so aren't I nice?) Then again, I added a London St. for the British, a Bay St. for us Canadians, Cole St. for the Halo junkies, and Queen St. for anyone that loves monarchies. Anyways, this pic shows the Blue Base, the UNSC HQ, and the Sigma Octanus Bureau of Investigation building (the crazy one with the iron supports, which I took from this month's OXM Halo2 ad on the very first page... look closely!) Behind them are just a set of residential buildings that serve as barriers.

And now that I have my beloved glass, you can see that in the pic, all the glass that is coloured light blue is destructible! This includes the UNSC lobby, the SOBI, and the apartment building in behind! I had the vision to make it so much like a real city, that if you shot an AR in the middle of nowhere, or strafed buildings in a banshee, you'd shatter glass, even if it has nothing to do with the gameplay! (unless you're running along the street shooting it out matrix style and like having random building glass shattering all around you!) YAAAAA!!!! uh oh. i wet myself. again.
So anywho, the second thing is an audio clip of the second radio show I produced. The radios will be played randomly from different objects around, such as an ad billboard with speakers, one of the civilian hogs, a random audio pack, etc. This is one of four radio shows, this one being the only Talk Radio. But it's funny, at least in terms of Canadian humour, which is similar to British, which is sometimes not funny to Americans. But it was fun making (I used Adobe Audition) (and snagged some commercials from GTA Vice City). I play Giro, the host, as well as many voices. My buddy Dave played the other voices. The voice acting is nothing great, but good for our level of production. And besides, it's supposed to add ambient noise to the game. (The hardest voice acting was the array of accents we used for our UNSC military com.) But anyways, enough babble, here it is:

So, I appologize for anything offensive to anyone at all... I dunno what people will think of this, so that's why I'm testing it out here. All comments are welcome, please reply or PM or whatever you people do for kicks around here. I'll probably post the same thing over at gearbox.
Oh and next time I'll put in some of my concept art work if you want to see it... it's good! Thanks for viewing!

Ok, the radio sounds really good, but I think you are going to need more voice actors, im sure lots of people would be willing to help you with this.
In England, there are often lots of competitions, people call in when they are driving their car to answer a couple questions to win a car or loads of money. Also people do requests for songs and things like that.
