Excually New Mombassa is very good comparing to other home made maps

And why are you all complaining about lag I have:
AMD Athlon XP 2000+ 1,66 GHz
512 MB RAM
nVIDIA GeForce MX 440

And I sometimes have a few lag strokes.
I'm playing at;
1280x1024
Refresht rate: 70 FPS
No VYSYNC
Decals: Yes
Textures: High
Particles: high

I have to agree with that last statement.
NMC is only crappy to those who cannot appreciate all the time and effort put into the map.
Also, the more you ask, the less likely it will be released.
The EP Map making team is working with the Zanzibar team on Zanzibar also I believe... Though i might be wrong.

We shouldn't say an ugly map that isn't fun sucks just because they worked hard on it?

Somehow the logic escapes me. I appreciate that they tried and I respect that they worked hard, but with the time given and people working on it, it shouldn't suck at all. It's a disappointment. It sucks and it shouldn't, which makes it suck that much more.

i cant belive that some of you are sayin new monbasa sucks....it is the best custom map for halo you know? i mean no offence ot the mappers here but a lot of maps out there are a bit crap, like most are just big walls and bad textures. Sure, this map dosent have the most textures ever but its not finshed in the classic is it? it kicks ass and if it runs poorly on your computer, its simple go out and get a better one

and dont complain about this map. anyway i dont think halo runs well on pc anyway, it shouldnt run so bad when you look at the graphics, take far cry or doom3 for example, they run really well and look really good on most peoples computers, but halo dosent....hmm.....

anyway, quit bitching that your computer is slow and get a job or get your parents to buy you a decent one, or decent bits.....

The map blows, get over it. There's NO way that it's the best map for CE. FissureFalls is better than it. That actually plays like a MP map.
