i think your base would be kinda insane this way, but you could have the entire base(s) be underground and the hog tunnel be the way in (i would suggest at least 3 or more ways into the base) as for the rest of the level, it could be as simple as bg, yet smaller, to reduce travel time.

i'm not sure if i stated this earlier but i don't feel like going through my posts to see. its easier just to say it again..this time
this map will be entirely underground. i suck at making generic looking outdoor things...not to mention crappy textures.

awww..... it'd be pretty freakin cool (in my opinion) if the gigantic bases were underground and there was a 'battlefield' that you had to cross to get to the other base. nothing complicated, just something that gave the bases a Resident Evil the movie's umbrella corp. underground base kinda feeling (the movie sucked.)

yeh, well it won't be scenery. if i ever make bases just for people to download i probably won't make it scenery

sorry for bringing up such an old topic, but i'd like to say this:
almost nobody plays halo CE anymore, so i'm not going to put it into the game, however, my good friend captain (maker of Lighting Strike, LS2, and Saber Arena) might put it in the game when i fisnish modeling the map.
the thing might not be what i fully wanted (due to poly limitations) but it should still be fun if he decides to do it
btw, i'm almost done completely with the model
