what happens to all the old mods?

do all of them just get deleted after a while?
there was a map called mega doomer that was in haloce mods about 2 weeks ago, and i never saw the thread again...?
it was a pretty good map, and all it needed was 2 bases on either side, and a big fortress-like structure at the top. so many perfect ctf games gone to waste.....

does anyone have a link or might be able to repost it in the files area?

it could be such a great map that i am even willing to learn some basic modding skills and do it myself.... *sigh*

will mass yellings be directed at me if i change the map? it should be fine as long as i give the guy credit, right?

well partially u have to get his PERMISSION to do it. but yes you do have to give him credit. dont be like that guy who made the new mombsa mod without the new mombosa peoples consent first so ASK FIRST!!!

how can i contact him? all i can find for him is his alias for mapping...
that and the tutorial for map making here goes to shambles when you have to export the map. they export it as an unsupported format, so the application just tells you it does not know how to export to that format. after that, it goes into DOS, assuming you have all the basic skills needed to use it.
