Exception Data

Hi I've been playing Halo CE for a while and now all of a sudden it won't start because of exception data. So, I just re-installed Halo CE with no custom maps and it still says "Gathering Exception Data"

lol... try opening up ce. when it says gathering exception data wait until it finishes. do NOT just X it out once it pops up. then it should say your problem in teh little window. if you cant understand that clikc the little link on lthe bottom right of the window and then ou should be able to understand it. like for me, i accidentaly deleted my bg so for a while i got an exception data thing saying "file:bloodgulch.map is missing or corrupted. please try reinstalling halo or check and make sure the file is not corrupted."
but i finally fixed it somehow... but just do that and then you SHOULD know what the problem is IF its not nothing but jibberish. cus somtimes the exception data prob is:

note this is not a real message this is just jibberish just for example

it came 2 me 2 when i tried hex editing bloodgulch.
Re-dowload CE
