skinning

alot of times when i am skinning stuff and mess with the image, it screws up. i export the image, open it with mip maps, change it, save it as dxt1 1 bit alpha, use existinp mipmaps, and when i try to inject it screws up. help?

Go to the skinning forum, there's a whole forum for skinning and modeling.

well when you are changing bitmaps sometimes its not a dxt 1 file it depends on the image if you look in the left hand corner it will tell you the type and if you open it and it asks you a question say no or it will mess up yer new bitmap if ya have neother questions about bitmaps pm me so you dont get flamed for talking in the wrong section k

he isnt flipping out, he is merely saying that you guys should take into account that yes, the "rules" say to post it in the correct forum, but no one answers in most of the other forums...he just has a little bit of a mouth on him...
