Hey, everybody... here is my update before I leave for a few days:
I have injected the whole pc flamethrower into the xbox (except for sounds & bitmaps, or models, but thanks to pokecancer I can, and I probably will) as many of you know. I even wrote a new flamethrower hud meta piece so that it is compatible with split screen (the pc flamethrower hud was designed only for a full screen). Anyway, one of the final problems was that the flamethrower wouldn't shoot defoliant (this was suprising considering the old xbox flamer could). For awhile I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working because I injected almost everything from the pc (yes, I did edit the flamethrower marker calls for the xbox model for all who are thinking I forgot to) and it shot on the pc. So recently I just figured out what controls why it's not shooting the defoliant and I am currently working on it so that it works correctly. (I've gotten it to shoot the defoliant but constantly, not just when your shooting
). Other then that the only real problem is that when you throw a grenade master chiefs hand glitches for a split second, but it isn't that bad, and I think I can fix it. Also thanks to Grenadiac I will be able to give the flamethrower it's own spawn spots! It will not replace any weapon!
(Unless of course I need to overwrite one of there models which I probably won't/won't have to).

anyways, cluis pointed out in irc the other day that he got recursive injection working for hht! yay! and it doesn't replace anything, so when his next build is released, if so, and your flamethrower is completed, you could just recursive extract and inject into other levels

I'm back from my mini vacation and I'm going to work on fixing the flamethrower once again. It should be finished within the week but no guarentees. And DaRebel, I'm actually using HXE (beta) which already injects things without replacing so that has already been done. I may try to inject it to a few diffrent levels. But probably I will fix it for campaign first. I think it would be intresting for a hell bringer to be in Sidewinder.
