General 3ds max annoyance
General 3ds max annoyance
Here's what happens... You know in 3ds max how when you hold down alt and the middle mouse button and then you can rotate. Well, whenever I do that in max now the view turns to wireframe and then when i stop rotating it goes back. I must have turned on some setting. Anyone know the solution?

Weird. Used to happen to me for a while, but I fixed it. In perspective, right-click on the word Perspective, and make sure Smoot & Highlights is selected. Also, click on the Customize (on the top main menu in 3dsmax) and click on Viewport Configuration. Then, on the bottom left, click on update all viewports (or something like that, as opposed to only current viewport.. I think there's a 3rd option but stick with All).
Then there's some stuff you have to do in the Viewport Config, look for something that might indicate wireframe on all the tabs.
