ok listen,
1. you get a .ogg to .mp3 file converter (im assuming you have one)
2. You extract the file you want to edit from the level using HMT3
3. Change it from .ogg to .mps
4. Edit it and save over the origional
5. Using your file converter change it back to .ogg
6. Inject it using HMT3
(Also, if you want to change a file to something totally different (ex. assault rifel firing to a clown laughing. You simply change the clown laughin to a .ogg and inject it over the assault rifle noise)
Hope that helps
.ogg file converter can be found at www.download.com

not all the sound files a .ogg, some are .wav
heres what you do
1) get goldwave or another good audio editor
2) get the ADPCM codec (search this site)
3) now extract the sound (ex. assault rifle sound)
the new sound HAS to be the same size and bitrate. it will tell you at the top in hmt3 (ex. xbox ADPCM 22.050 kHz, 4 bit, Mono)
4) now just open any wave file, cut it down to the same length of the sound you're replacing
5) reinject your new sound
BTW... this is for pc.
