the Gmax link had been broken for a few days while they had reorginized their files at turbosquid where discrete hosts it... all better now....
and I kinda like Mirai for video rendering.... its better than 3ds Max and there is no release for the public, its both military software and used in hollywood production. the military use it to train missles to search for objects.... like sudam or Bin Ladin and its also has its hollywood use and as well is used to make movies like star trek DS9 and TNG it was also used in LOTR
I love 3d modeling classes, u learn alot!
