Unable to type in Halo CE

I can't type any messages in Halo CE. I also can not see messages. Like if someone is killed or if I kill someone none of that comes up. I have a feeling it was a map that I download since this started a few days ago.

I had the same problem...

Only thing I could find that worked was to reinstall halo by using the repair option when you put the disk in and select uninstall.

I have that same problem right now. I already tried re-installing haloce 2 times and it still isnt fixed. It's really annoying to say the least...

I had this problem with HaloPC as well. I reinstalled halopc when i had the error there and it was fixed. but that same strategy didnt work when i tried to fix haloCE

Right click your Halo CE shortcut and go to properties...look through the tabs and see if your running halo on 256 colors and on Windows 95 version..if so that is the problem..it hapened to me..turn that shit off and it will work again

Try the solution listed there. My friend had this problem, and it fixed it for him.
