Can anyone recommend a good video file converter?

To upload Halo Movies, either Halo PC or Halo Xbox. Movies must be compressed with winrar or zip. Maximum 5MB/minute of video.

I like to take FRAPS vids of Halo, but the avi files are HUUUUUGE. A 6 second video with is 20 MB...

http://www.tmpgenc.net/e_main2.html <--- there's a good free video encoder. You still will have to decide/download the best codec to use to encode the video. The codec you pick and the resolution you use for your video will determine your filesize.
