wrl problem

wrl problem

I hate this, it has been doing this on every single one of my maps. It will do the edge error in tool. and then ill load the wrl, ill delete the things that it highlights, and save, BUT IT KEEP ON GIVING ME THAT ERROR

wat am i doing wrong?

well if its edges then they r prolly open....create new faces to cover up the spots that are open...dont delete that wud only make more openings

if thats the wrong error i'm thinkin of i apologize in advance :wink:

ok dude DO NOT JUST DELETE THE EDGES FROM THE WRL!!!! lots of people think its what u sould do... but the wrl ONLY shows u WERE are your errors onto your level geometry, so when u have a fucked edge just go to edit mesh onto your geometry, then delete the edges highlighted, and then create new faces to close the open edges. its normal to get errors on a map, dont stop correcting cauz even on the biggest map in the world, it takes not more than 2 hours to correct errors. also, when youre done correcting fucked edges, u will have coplanar surfaces, these are faces that tool stress with and cannot identify correctly the different faces. coplanar surfaces can be easely corrected by moving some vertex of about 0.1 x,y or z depending how your face is placed, so that tool can differency the faces.

its stupid, ill just make a box and there are STILL edge errors
