Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

bitmaps question, there grey :s

Post by ThabounceR »

when i compile my bitmaps and put them in my map or guerilla they are grey when in fact they are very colorfull, what should i do?

my guess is that it has something to do with the tiff files, and i need to edit them, but i have no clue how

lol actually you can edit the bitmaps after using tool.. then running tool again for your changes to take effect...

other than an alpha effecting your bitmaps I cant suggest anything else

:P :P :P guess what i tried that a couple of times already, i think it has something to do with the tif files

i extracted the textures from ut wich where PXD files so i cenverted them to tiff but i cant see any reason not to work except tha they are grey :s

ya i know oh well it's for my map facing_worlds, if you want you can look here http://www.halomods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12275

but i think i'll use a covie and a human building cuz in UT self both buildings are diffrent to, and cuz this is halo, covie and human does fit the situation

here is a screen so you can see what i mean http://img29.exs.cx/img29/8339/facing_worlds_render.jpg

still looking for a beta tester, interested?
