Hello! Fine mod, but I have a problem :-/ I read through the whole topic and did everything as suggested: I reinstalled Halo from the original CD, patched to 1.04 and then applied the ppf through PPF-O-MATIC 3.0 to the bitmaps.map

The Halo ring in the titlescreen works fine and has the new shader, but ingame items (like the small pyramid thing that makes you invisible) have weird textures (like the guy who posted a screenshot of his gun and that energy field) with squares all over the texture.

What am I doing wrong? Is this because I have the european (german) version of Halo?

The version hasnt mater.I see you havent wrong at least 1 step.Everythnig that you did is correctly.Latest halo patch is 1.07

I reinstalled and applied 1.07 and it still doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

I just found out that the other people who had this problem, all had the european version. It's simple as that: the european file differs from the us file just a bit. So the ppf can not be applied as it has to be applied to the file it was "made for" and that's certainly the us version. So how can I get this to work now?

Download PPF o Matic and apply it using that.

i liked these shaders except the AR, the scratches make it look corrupt

Something about the EU bitmaps is different. When you inject a smaller bitmap into a larger one, it doesn't completely fill in the old texture, and the rest is covered in multicolored squares.

Actualy, it resized the bitmap to match in injecting one. When you inject a larger bitmap to a smaller one, othe bitmaps will be corrupted. When you inject a larger halo logo then the one there, the CAMPAIN sign and Game maker screen will be corrupted.

LOL ds.store is a mac thing for information about a folder. it is not needed to be "installed" as a matter of fact it cannot.

this patch works fine on uk version of halo.
I installed the eu fix one but had purple AR some bits of it
