i thought of another way to get the weapons to be a little easier to see.

Scotty Gee's Biohazard II was on zanzibar, and the zanzibar wheel was glowing a lime green color. Do that to the weapons(in different colors), i am not quite sure how to do this, but i think it will make the weapons stand out more.

ok..try to change (example) gemini in midship and change it in the normal halo2 maps folder with the org midship...that what i do..because my new maps dont work at the moment...

and now...please...if u got probs...change the forum..thats not the right one

To the guy with freezing problems: You need to add the new maps to your mainmenu w/ Snave's mainemenu patch. Serenity resigns the map for you.

It means if you didn't use the whole BSP and just the bottom/ground level, then the map wouldn't be as big. If you didn't add lifts/teleporters to get on the upper levels and made everything spawn on the bottom, it would be playable with fewer people. Similar to what smack did to the gate (only playing the southside).

yeah..i think u r a right a bit....maybe i use this bsp for a new theme and make it not so big :wink:

for this one, i hope i get cool teamspawns from smacktalker and fix some little things so its better than before...and thats it....im to lazy to create this one complet new.....at the moment....

anyway some people say the same like u, but i want it big....

and wtf....its not so big like coag?? :roll:

Finally got around to playing this and I must say I liked it a lot. I liked the way you placed the machines, like where they were placed and the elevation of them all. This was a very good map. The grav lifts were fun. The skin was also nice. Good job man.

wow..thanks...but skin is made by headshot..

any bugs or probs, that u can tell me?

what i know and try to fix in next version

Weapons-i make both (fp and 3rd) the same color

mc and weapons are darker on machs-cant fix it
and some other little thnigs...

oddly enough when a vehicle blows up half the time it just dissapears.. mostly it is when it goes off the grav lifts and falls down.. I dont know if that can be fixed but yea thought you should know

Wow I'm surprised I missed the thread ;)
Its a great level and its fun to play...
Although I do think your skin is better JC rather than Faisals'...
Only because yours looks more lush and fits the raining watery foret like feel...Faisal's skin is good but it doesnt quite capture the feel as its only got a small amount of grass...

As for the whole "glowing wheel"...Well that was to do with the zanzibar mach wheel itself...It seems that it uses a seperate lighting thing to everything else...And also when you stand on it it turns on cinematic lighting/cinematic LODS...

Perhaps you can add a lens or a ligh to the hlmt of the models so that you can always see them glowing

Anyways...Good Job JC
