I ran into a similar problem hexing the strings for Scotty's Biohazard.
The issue here is you duplicated the Needler and used the dupe for one fo the weapons, correct? They both point to the same String ID. What you can do is to edit the Fuel Rod Cannon's String to suit the new weapon. Then (I used Insolence), point the weapon to the fuel_rod_cannon string_id's instead of the ones it points to originally.

I fixed the Needlers in my copy of Biohazard III. Blue Needler now says: "Picked up a Pulser","Picked up 1 round for Pulser",and "Picked up # rounds for Pulser". The Green Needler now says: "Picked up a Chemical Needler","Picked up 1 round for Chemical Needler",and "Picked up # rounds for Chem. Needler". I used the Brute Plasma Rifle for "Picked up Chemical Needler", and I used the rocket launcher's single and multi ammo pickups for the other two. It took me like 5 min.

I was dissapointed that you got rid of the sword
And instead you placed an oddly floating sentinal beam which lags the game...Not too greatly but its definatly noticable (to me)...If it was a sentinal beam only game itd slow down plenty...And I didnt like how br has a grenade launcher as a starting weapon and that the grenades didnt explode on impact...
Other than that its still a good mod...

edit: btw i've waited extra long, only because you suggested he would not post this mod only untill a few weeks after your one was released, because this mod would be like 10 times better which it is.

Only part I don't get is how you've then tried to take a personal stab by saying its better...I don't mind at all... Why else would I only let Faisal make them? Because he'd excecute them well, and in this case to your opinion he'd do better to
