Then rename the .xbe. I think Dvd2Xbox has an option to do that, I don't remember though.llRiggamortisll wrote:How did u get it so u can select which one u wanna play??

I don't remember what program lets you rename the .xbe internally....you can't just change it from Default.xbe to Halo2ce.xbe so don't try that....anyone know what program does that?
And incase anyone's still wondering...my problem was for some reason I had Xbox7887's old old old old old camera hack patch on my default.xbe so that caused a problem for some reason. lol
And nice job on the final! I can't wait for this style pack! My vote=MotY+Outstanding Mods section.
EDIT: I don't usually say this....but HOLY F***!!! Slight problem with the auto patcher. It keeps patching Headlong....look at this picture. It's still rising, right now it's at 16 GB. And I can't find the program in the task manager.....so I can't delete it, and I can't shut down the program.....help please?
EDIT2: Finally found it...after the file size was 17,041,294 KB in size...16.2 GB. Wowza

make a folder in e/games called halo 2 ce and a folder called halo 2 and put all the halo 2 files in the halo 2 folder and all the halo 2 ce files in the halo 2 ce folder that should work.llRiggamortisll wrote:yes but i got Dvd2Xbox on my computer now how do i change the .xbe internally on my hdd so that i can choose between H2 n H2CE?GametagAeonFlux wrote:It's an application, .xbe is the xbox equivalent of a .exe. (xbe=xbox executable iirc)

I just noticed....
What's "the reticle and weapon size problem"? Something like....things not aiming right/hitting where the reticle shows or what?
Code: Select all
Description: The normal version of Halo 2: Combat Evolved FINAL RC2 with 80 degrees FOV. This fixes the reticle and weapon size problem.
No, it's entirely visual, the bullets go where the reticle is with both. It's just that in the 90 degree, some weapons extrude out too much and get in the way of the reticle.GametagAeonFlux wrote:I just noticed....What's "the reticle and weapon size problem"? EDIT: Wowz major problem. You have the Main Menu.map patch referencing the scenarios of the multiplayer maps to include CEF at the end....they don't in the individual map files. For example:
Main Menu entry: scenarios\multi\lockout\lockoutCEF
In the hex of Lockout: scenarios\multi\lockout\lockout
Bug mb!?
