Its here.
swordedit: Genesis
http://clanhalo.net/swordedit.zip
swordedit: Genesis is the first generation of the swordedit Halo: CE scenario editor for Mac OS X. swordedit renders maps in 3D, allowing a user to navigate the world and edit any on-map object in many varied ways.
Features included in this release of swordedit include, but are not limited to, the following:
- 3D Map Rendering
3D Map Navigation
4 Rendering Styles
Multiple BSP Support
Bitmap Alpha Rendering
Texture Viewing
Object Selection
Object Translation
Object Duplication
Object Deletion
Object rotation
Teleporter Creation
Scenario scenery reference creation
Bitmap location setting
Known issues:
- Movement keys may become stuck. In the case they become stuck and you cannot stop the camera from moving, press the Command button and K at the same time, or go to File -> Kill all Keys. You may then recenter the camera and resume editing.
Map loading will take a while on older computers. This is a known issue and one that I will be working on over successive versions of swordedit.
No model viewer. Sorry, but I just didn't feel too much of a need to include one in swordedit yet.
swordedit will crash if you set the bitmaps file while the map is opened. I'll solve this in a later release, but for now, you have been warned.
Some other, hopefully minor bugs will probably be found that I have not addressed. If you find any, please report them in this thread.
As of release, swordedit is:
9,056 lines of code with 4,497 semicolons in 38 files

YES!
OMG YES!
Finally Sword! Love!
*opens and plays with it*
EDIT:
Was the totally cool music really nesicary?
Also, 1. Why does duplicating not work for me? When I press duplicate item it does nothing.
2. How do you spawn anything else apart from teleporter pairs?
EDIT EDIT: 1. Duplicating works for everything but vehicles :/
Also, Tyler, To move things up and down you hold control when you move them.

Good job! Can't wait to get me some modding time in, gonna start some now and then keep it up after exam.
I'm not going to lie here, I duplicated some scenery and made a pair of teleporters and my game crashed. It also seems you can't do anything to vehicles.
Overall it seems good, I managed to duplicate some stuff, still playing around.
EDIT: I made some teleporters, it seemed to work this time. Could it have crashed because I saved a map, quit then opened and saved with a few changes? Either way, great work.

Going to preferences gives me the message, "Lol dongs" with window title "What are you doing here, silly?"
Quite unexpected, seeming as the program prompted me program defaults that I can't seem to change later.
Perhaps make this menu do something?
Then, of all things to do, you cannot close the window.
There's no red "X" at the top left.
It has been nulled out.
Horrible thing to do.

Hahahahahaha, I forgot entirely about that! I meant to remove the preferences window entirely for now since all of the preference controls are under the Rendering tab of the Scenario Editor.

Don't make huge quotes with images in like that again. Or you will be punished. ~ iGeo

This one won't convert to PC. Obj-C is almost exclusively mac compiled and cocoa isn't portable IIRC.

I'm actually quite pleased with the load speeds.
Here on my 933MHz G4 it loads in about 10 seconds and maybe takes 5 more to let me move around.

Yeah, its nice. I wish I could duplicate vehicles though.
And it shouldnt be for PC. The reason Sword made this is beacause PC had sparkedit, which let them do so much more.
