[Mac App] Halo Modding Application Manager

Post by bcnipod »

I have written an application that will open all the normal halo modding applications in an easily accessable menu. this is only for mac. there are a few bugs in it, i am in the process of fixing them. please download and enjoy.

ok i have removed the download link until the strange problem if it not launching is fixed, because i tried it on other computers and it worked fine.

btw Tyler i install that frameworks package and C#MT works fine. i did not install any other ones before that. >_>

No where does it say that he needs the mono frameworks. C'mon. There's no point in having mono unless you're compiling C#. It's just missing the compiled file is all. Xcode is ugly like that. Another reason I prefer to make command line if using C family languages. Can compile with GCC and know exactly what is needed to run.

I have redone the application. Now it should work correctly.

Download link: http://superb-east.dl.sourceforge.net/s ... s/HMAM.zip

Also i redid my crappy java program that calculated the correct number to put in to get a desired number to display on the AR. here is a download link for that.

So what's the difference between this and putting shortcuts into a folder?
(besides the errors)

the thing is I am on a PPC, and they work on other PPC computers, because I have run it on another computer.

Don't be a fool tyler. Mono has nothing to do with why it won't run. Check the crash reporter. The only place mono is even metioned is in the install script. If it were to crash because of non-existant files it expects to use, it'd at the very least have an error message as opposed to failing to launch entirely. There's other reasons for it not running on intel.

i complied it correctly. in Xcode, for some reason it will not launch.

Edit: i know this sounds stupid, do i have to do anything besides the Compile function to it to get it to run?
