I can't find a working download anywhere!

and when I do, its the wrong program.

The download in the pff o matic topic here in utilities gives me a weird program, and when I try to open a pff patch with it it asks for a CD image to open.

i used that link and I got the weird cd image thingy I already said I got.

I rember downloading pff o matic a week ago, but I reformatted.

I dont rember it looking like this though:

That's the right one, you dont have to use cd images, just select to see all files in the selector box.

Once the open file dialog shows up at the bottom just click on the drop down arrow and switch it from CD Images to all files. You will then be able to locate your .map file.

why even bother with ppf-o-matic?

you can only apply one patch at a time

with helpful halo hacking tool, you can apply 100s at a time, and its easier to use becuase you dont have to go map, then find the ppf, then apply...map and patches are all there you just click and click apply
