Does the map rebuilding feature only work on Halo PC? I can't get it to work for Xbox.

It depends if you're trying to rebuild a single player level, with this version of HMTv3, you can't. Although I've read that MonoxideC is trying to make that possible. :)

I'm not a member of this site because it screwed up my e mail thing so I cant log in to post a new topic so I am going to continue this one but add a new question. When I downloaded HMT3 it gave me a message saying windows cannot open this kind of file because it is a .rar file. What does this mean and how do I fix it? Thanks

I concur with some of the other people's posts; Halo Map Tools has issues with .NET in some cases. I think the problem lies in the fact that they're probably using Windows 2000 (like me). Here is the error message I got:

And I am using version 1.1.4322.573 of .NET framework (the latest available for Windows 2000)

Slight error in the readme file:
"HMT currently supports all versions of the game.
These include:
Xbox, PC Retail, PC Beta, and PC Demo"

you uh... don't have support for the Mac version, which believe it or not, is a version!

Would love to see a Mac version in the future.

I'm about to ask what's probably an annoying question... Where can I get this .NET thingy? I've looked for it for about a week, but I can't seem to find it...

Alright, people. I'm kind of disappointed no one seems to know that you can download the .NET Framework through your Windows Update site.

For all you win2k/xp users, just click on Start>Programs>Windows Update.

For Win9x/ME/NT users, just go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com

Hope this helps the n00bs out there.

And when I get around to it, I'll log myself into the forums. Haven't been here in a while.
