Sword edit's such a hassle sometimes.
no, this would require a lot of stuff being translated to another language. Then you would need to learn a lot about how to let Leopard bypass the control on Memory access.
Maybe you could get it to work with the Mono framework. Not sure how difficult it would be to get around Leopard though.

No. I know I have said this before. Please learn about what you are talking about before you say something so you are not looking like a complete idiot.

What's your problem dude, I suggested maybe you could use it, not that it would work or be easy. Is it really that hard to compile it using another compiler. I realize that it uses Pinvokes and you would have to get code for memory management in Leopard, but you don't have to be a jerk about it. Wow, I'm angry now.

let's see, well my problem mainly entails the fact that you cannot compile VB on a mac. period.

Like I said do research first and come up with an idea that has a possibility of working.

Well he is using the .Net framework, which you can easily decompile to C# with Reflector. Don't treat me like an idiot...

Show me a program that can convert Visual Basic into C#, then show me how to write the program to read mem addresses correctly under mac OS X. then show me how I would replace Windows calls with OS X calls. I have had this source code also since the release, I have also talked with conure about how I would go about converting this.

I am not treating you like an idiot. I was saying that you should always do research before you start making suggestions thinking that it will work. I am just trying to be helpful by giving you advise on how to not look like a fool because you tried to comment on something you don't appear to know much about.

I mentioned that I didn't know how the memory calls on a Mac would work, but I bet with some research you could figure out, or maybe it's not possible with Mono yet, but it doesn't hurt to research a little bit. I didn't say it would be easy. To decompile a VB.net program into C#.net source code, all you need is This All that leaves is finding out how to do the memory things on Mac. If it's a well written app you should be able to pretty easily replace the windows calls with Mac ones once you find out the needed stuff. Also aside from Reflector converting it to C#, I could probably help you write a C# version pretty quickly.

Don't argue here. We don't want it locked, argue in PMs.

Also, great work Conure.

OLD MOVIE IS OLD :P

It is unfortunate that running this app on a mac causes LOADS of issues with the computer that are best left at "Very Bad". I would like to see one of these move to the mac.

K. What dont you understand?
The principle of the program is very simple, it works on halo memory instead of map files. This lets you do real time modding, BUT these mods are NOT saved (in this version).

Be a bit more specific and i can give you better awnsers.
