Hi everyone at Halomods. A long time ago (maybe a little less than a year) I started making an application called H2E. It was designed to be a Halo themed web browser. However after giving it up for a while, I seemed to have come across it again. Im now alot more expirenced with VB and I added some cool stuff to it and made it better.

So without further hesitation I present to you H2E beta 2.1. I had originally released this at HaloMaps but unfortunately it didnt get too much attention especially now after my updates. So I decided to post it here.

H2E has many features. Its main feature is the web browser which has fully functional go,stop, refresh, back, forward, and home buttons along with functional history recording. Along with the web browser you can view your favorites which appear on the left. The favorites have functional delete and add buttons. The red X closes the panel.

You can also set home pages for the browser. This can be done through the Edit file menu. The Edit file menu also allows to history deletion and adding the current page to your favorites. The file button currently does not have any features (do to New Window feature not yet installed).

From the View tool you can view favorites, releases, notes, tutorials and the page source of the current page.

Favorites shows the favorite panel on the left. Releases shows the release panel with Name, description, and links to the latest Apps and Mods. You can submit a mod or an application via http://www.calvars.com/gac/registerfile.php

This link allows you to submit the data to add yours to the list. The notes tab shows your notes. You can take them while browsing or for whatever reason you like and hit save. The next time you open the notes they will automatically be shown.

If you go to view - tutorials you will see the tutorial database pop up. The tutorials are organized into classes, once selected the tutorials will be shown and when double clicked upon the tutorial will be brought up in the web browser. Tutorial submission feature is coming soon but if you would like to submit one (I have only put on a few) please send the Class (doesnt have to be a class in the list already) the Name and the link to your tutorial via PM here or on my forum at www.calvars.com/forums .

Last in View is the page source. A bar beneath the web browser will be displayed that shows the source of the page in RTF format which allows autolinking URLs. The source has a save feature that lets you choose where and what filetype to save the page as. The source also has a functional find feature.

Under the help menu a box is alerted that will show how to contact me and such. And last under Tools is the Post Generator. Its as simple as it looks just type in the values you would like hit generate and there it gives you the output in a pop up box that also has a copy button so you dont have to highlight it all.

Other than that the last few features are the status bar and loading text at the bottom which change when the page is changed.

More is yet to come and suggestions are welcome thats how all the extra features it has came to me. They were all suggested by the fellows at Halomaps so thanks goes out to them. (the only big issue with the program is that links that open up in a new window open with IE)

By the way, GIR, one of the requests over at Halomaps was a customizable GUI where you could actually select images that would be used for your buttons. I thought it would be over the top but if you want me to implement it I can :D

I put in a new update. The latest version includes a fully functional GUI customizer. It allows you to change all the program's images along with the colors of the menu, status, background, and toolstrip colors.

There were also a few minor bug fixes.

Last, in the menu under view, go to releases. You can click releases to bring up the side bar as usual but if you hover over is another option will appear that lets you register your own file for the releases. It takes to you to my file register page in the web browser. Once you hit submit and refresh the releases bar is should be there.

Last but not least, if anyone would like to submit tutorials please PM me with the class, name, and link to the tutorial. I only added a few for testing purposes to start off with but it needs to be expanded

Not that great
