I didn't particularly feel like readin through 28 pages of replies, so I apologize if this has been said already. I can't always copy things from one map into another. It is set to Parsed and Sounds are off, but I can't copy a lot of things into other maps simply by dragging and dropping. I also have some problems with the BSP raw editor. Ocassionally things just aren't where they should be according to it. I can't figure out why this is, and it kinda works to take the thing im placing and zero out everything in another app (X=0 Y=0 Z=0 Yaw=0 Roll=0 Pitch=0) save and try to place it again. Otherwise, its a great app, I'm only posting because I want the next build to be even better.

This app is great but i cant seem to understand how to tranfer a new biped with workin sounds i beleive u can do it with entity since insolence never transfers sounds right!

This is still a great app tho :D

This is exactly what I dreamed of since I started modding halo 2!
Now I am waiting to be able to create a map.

I hope modding halo 3 will become this simple!

I need to know a two things.

How can I transfer the bsb and include the origional objects on the map so that it does not freeze when I move my character into the area where it is suposed to be.

Finaly how can I add objects and spawn points on a map such as: weapons, veacles, mach, and boxes.

To jonny.

1.) When you build your bsp make sure all the scenery objects, blocs, and mach's are in your map. Then Extract the sp scrn (With nothing checked) of the sp map and build it into your map. Then extract the mp scrn and re-refrence the scenery and scenery pallate, and the obstacle and obstacle pallate. That should work. If it has a machine placement and pallate then you will need to re-refrence those.

Thanks alot. Its not often I find somone who gives a helping hand now and then.

How do you re-refrence the scenery and scenery pallate, with that information I will be able to re-reference the rest of the stuff and realy begin to make professional maps. Would I have to transfer them all one by one or is there an other way. sorry if I am naging.

It might just be me, but when i click tools/raw editor nothing happens

You have to select the [sbsp] tag, then hit the RAW Editor button.

Is it possible to put more vehicles on a map that's already has mods? if it is i'm not having any luck doing so.

i followed the tut, but when i add a new weapon to a map like a jackle shield and try to chunk clone the netgame an error box comes up.

OK, I tried to convert the bridge again, this time using gemini, following the process exactly as I know it(saving the sbsp of oldmombasa_3b with the recursive and parsed boxes checked, then building the mp map, in this case gemini, using the ".info" file.) and no scenery injections/swaps like I tried last time. I set up the teleporters, and spawn points. I put all the unwanted things like the covenant doors and holo panels and the jump pad down in the tunnel where they won't be noticed unless searched for. I also put all the objective points in a pile like the player spawns. Scattered the weapons in front of the spawn points. I signed it, encrypted it with Dot Halo, Encryptomaticed (is that how you would spell that?), then used the "New Map Signer" to sign it... I ftp it and load it up but it freezes on the 0:00. Remeber I made no dependency swaps, didn't add anything with insolence. Tried this like 6 times now, its getting considerably annoying having to move s*** around everytime... Any help is INCREDIBLY appreciated. :lol:

Also, how do you go about injecting a covenant capital ship, and or inamberclad into a map with out it freezing everytime you load it? Had a cool mod I was working on that needed those two...

[Edit] Ok, I looked back a couple of pages and read the thing about the sounds. Tried that and I finally have a playable map. Now my question is, how do get the vehicles you want in the map to work? I tried using DarkMatter to swap plasma grenades for my vehicles in the item collection. Tried cloning the Netgame equipment chunks then using Dark Matter, but it that didn't work either, I get to the black screen then it freezes... [Edit]

[Edit] I read Mr. Ball's tut and tried that, but it froze again....I know there has to be something I'm doing wrong.... [Edit]

srry dont know if this was posted befor but.. I can not use the sbsp viewer with gemini anymore. Its a fresh gemini and I used two different gemini maps. I was able to open it once befor but not anymore. This is not because of that add 20 chunks thing is it...? Because I never did that the first time I opened it. :?
