HMT: Skinning For Beginners

Ok here is a tutorial for beginners.. If you have no idea how to skin then feel free to look here..
For this tutorial you will need Adobe Photoshop and HMT (Halo Mapping Tools)

If you need any help at all then please feel free to ask me.. Sorry if this tutorial is a bit naff but it's my first one and i appologise for that
Hope it helps in at least some small way...
Here are some quick samples i made of what you could design once you get the hang of it, which i'm sure you will
I'll also be making skins for anybody who wishes to download them for use in their game

Yeh thanks for that.. I like to go into detail since i'm an artist and i love designing stuff
It was just a skin i threw together for an example.. Hmmm. Any ideas how i'd reduce the reflectiveness of a vehicle? Also how would i make a vehicle jet black like the RWarthog?

Bandwidth limit exceeded on Geocities. Try mirroring it on a different Server. I added it to the Tutorials Index as wel. Try to get this fixed pronto.

i would like to download a skin because i have no idea how to use the tut i need a wart hog that has a flaming skin like the ones by most of the messenges on the homepage if you can help me that would be great

I made a skin pack for halo pc that has a flaming hog in it. It looks really cool when you are up close. Here is the link

unrar/unzip the skins to ur desktop or something...
open up hmt, then open a map
go to the bitmaps tag, open it up, find the appropriate skin, and inject the custom skin over it
