Single Use Weapon (Equipment)

Very simple but something that people have been asking about...

1. Get Updated Weap Plugin

###Setup The Dropper###

2. Duplicate the SMG
3. Check The "Drop When Fired" Bit (In The 2nd Bitmask From The Top)
4. Change "Button Used" To "Automated Fire"
5. Null The "FP Models" Depandancies

###Setup The Weapon###
6. Open The Weap You Desire To Be Single Use
7. Change "Rounds Per Shot" To "2"
8. Change "Age Generated Per Round" To "0.5"
9. Change The "Aged Weapon" Dependancy To The Dropper (Duplicated SMG)
10. Optional, Check The "Doesn't Count Toward Maximum" Bit

11. Test :wink:

Note: To Spawn Your Equipment, Change The Projectile Of The Weapon

Awsome! You could make a never ending weapon thing with this it would just be annoying to create. Say you start with a smg, then you get a rocket launcher like you said, then you get a needler, sniper rifle, never ends! Thanks for the tut I'm sure ace mods will be glad :D

Excellent, just what I need!
The maximum signature size is 500x120px at 75kb.

NVM just found out.
The maximum signature size is 500x120px at 75kb.

I meant firing the [weap] from a gun to get it into the map, an old hack for SLC.

The rolling eyes aren't called for.

What i want to get is a weapon that shoot a projectile and is dropped not drop a weapon on the ground.

Right. I understand that. It's what I want, too. My point was, Gun A shoots Gun B as its projectile. You then pick up Gun B, which fires its own projectile and ages to the autofire dropping weapon in the method Xzodia describes. Gun A is worthless as a weapon except for its ability to spawn Gun B.

It's an old SLC spawning trick, like in the Vehicle Wars mod in the Killtrocity map pack. I think it was used to get a lot of working vehicles into the map without chunk cloning. I'm not sure if it would work for the dropping weapon, or if it was tried by the 3volved team.

Now that I think about it, I suspect the gun spawning trick would not work.

What I ment was if your using this to spawn "Equipment" such as a bubble sheild you change the projectile of the weapon (ie not the dropper) to your equipment thingy

Hella was saying because that he mentioned a droppable gun, he was the first to think of it, and it was his idea. I've wanted to do this with a sword for a while, so this should help out.

No. He was talking about This Topic, I suggested aged weapons awhile before that but noone bothered to test it >_<

Edit: just took a look at the weap plugin and i believe the "Age Generated per Round" value may come into play...however the sword doesnt use it...so hmm...try settting it to 1

Wait, how is this not SLC? All your doing is duplicating a weapon....?
