anyway, now how do I enter the paths to the shared files and the mainmenu? There is no settings selection in the tools section.

once you open youre first map in entity it will say mainmenu not found and dispal a form to set the external map paths

I've tried, but another message comes up saying that the program has reached an unhandled exception and can either close, or try to ignore the problem and keep running.

I'll redownload it and see if it will work.

Edit: No, it did the same thing, that version isn't working for me :?

I'm a bit confused, I've seen several AI tut's and some of them copy different reflexives. For example I noticed you didn't transfer the AI squad types reflexive, but you did transfer the AI zones and encounters. Could someone explain what's the deal with this?

Are you saving it in the same directory? Try creating a completely new folder and extract all the new files to that folder. That did the trick for me.

I tried that just now and it didn't work. The program just doesn't like me :?
Even when I have the main menu open in entity and try to open another map it says it can't find the main menu :evil:

Edit: I just recently got the version from Wasting body's tutorial (I accidently thought he was snakeknight :? ) and I finally got it to work :D But I have yet to test it.

Remove EVERY trace of entity that you have. Than create another new folder and call it something completely different...
Sigh if that doesn't work then I don't know what the problem could be sorry.

So do you know why each tutorial brings over different reflexives??

Small problem though, when I'm transferring the reflexes
Sig over height and file size limits.

Hey supermodder, why do you need to bring in the reflexives that you listed?
And why don't you bring in the AI Squad types one? I've read several other tutorials on this and they bring in the following 5: weapons paletten vehicle palette, AI Squad, AI Squad types and Characters...

Why is there a difference?

PS Whenever I'm done with transfering the reflexives I can't open my BSP viewer anymore (index out of bounds or something), any idea what could be causing this?

you use the chuink cloner to transfer the chunks and use the second sqad in the list.I must have forgot AI sqad Types.

Well I've been having some problems...
I used the chunk cloner and transferred the weapons, vehicle, biped palettes and the characters reflexes over without any problems (I opened the BSP viewer after every transaction and it opened). However after I transfer the AI squads I can't open my BSP viewer anymore (I'm using old mombasa as SP should that help, coag as MP).

Is this normal (I doubt it...)? And what should I do I've tried so much already :(

Uhm it's probably because you have different entity pllugins...go to Se7enSins and go to Halo2 xbox modding, then under modding programs you'll see a forum 'Plugins' (at the top).

Here you'll see a thread called Ub3r Entity Plugins or something like that, download thos plugins, they rock and will certainly show you AI squads.

Also make sure your SP map has AI on it (durrr)

PS: link removed = sevensins (I'm not allowed to say that for some reason)

Bleh insolence crashes everytime i try to open dune in it. any ideas?

And amazing tutorial just your insolence gives me issues.

Thats a very very old problem just clone like 5 chunks in the chunk cloner.

whoa, ok the plugins come with the entity i put at the top.I beleve the bsp viewer in the entity i hosted breaks when adding AI well dosnt break just fails to load them in the bsp viewer and generates a error, so use another entity.AI sqads ma be labeled sqads in some plugins.
