How to spawn 100% fully working,System link compatible machs

if you boys are referring to non-modded xbox's...they won't be able to see the doors. The doors aren't in the map originally so they wouldn't be able to see them. Now, if they had the map as well...it's a different story.

Yea, for this to happen, you must first make a patch and send it to someone else. Then, they can see it as well. However, if a non-modded xbox joins your party, they won't be able to see the doors.

So they haven't found to fix that, theres got to be a way to make them see it.

No, there's not. The mach is NOT IN THEIR MAP. Thus, they cannot see it.

No problem. Also, I left out the part where you can switch the idents in the scnr. If anyone needs this part, I will be more than happy to update it.

For some reason, it didn't do this before..But now my mach's arent showng up under the Machines tag.

Ok i did every step but then in the bsp viewer, i click spawns or whatever and there is no + sign next to machine, but in entity i click on the mach tab and it shows its in the map. What i do wrong ?

I'm not sure what you are doing wrong, however, I added an example patch for everyone that wants to test it.

thank you very happy this tutorial exists but a thing i wanted to know is how to put a switcher inside the bases and if you press x near it the door opens or closes not that if i go near it it opens!
please help me
i want a switcher for every door not only one for all!

Link a control to the doors. There is a tutorial around here somewhere that tells you how exactly to do that.

there's a little problem!
i open the map and it says mainmenu map not found set map paths!
can you help me?
should i fix something or use another entity version?

Make sure which ever map you are modding is in the same folder as your mainmenu.map, shared.map, and single player shared.map. Then try again.

Stop double posting.

And for your problem, go into settings, and set map paths for each required map.

Yeah, I'm having problems with this too. When I open up new mombassa and coag to do the chunk cloning, I get an error after I click "Add meta to map" which ultimately leads to it not working and the BSP not loading. Any help?
