Jackle sheild in MP using only Entity

You need the following programs

1) Entity

Step 1: Open up your MP map in Entity.

Step 2: Open up the campaign map that has the jackal shield in it, I used deltaaproach.

Step 3: Go to the weapon tag in the campaign map and click on jackal shield and then click the checkboxes parsed and recursive and then click save then it will say done.

Step 4: Now close the single player map and go to the mp map. In the mp map choose build and locate the .info of what you just saved.Image

Step 5: Now in your MP map go to the weapon tag and click on the jackal shield that you just moved into it.

Step 6: Open the Meta editor and choose show unknowns.

Step 7: Scroll down to FP models then in the drop down box to the right there should be a 0 and a 1 in it make sure you have it one 1.

Step 8: Now change the mode to "objects\weapons\melee\jackal_shield\fp_jackal_shield\fp_jackal_shield" without quotes.

Step 9: Now change the jmad to "objects\characters\mastercheif\fp\weapons\pistol\fp_plasma_pistol\fp_plasma_pistol".

Step 10: Now fix map signature, resign, and ftp to your Xbox.


I used stars45 tutorial as a template cause I was to lazy to type the whole thing.

Wait a Min someone told me you cant use Entity for Halo, how Come you can Open that Map and i Cant open Halo1 Story-mode Maps to add Marines & stuff, Is there a few Types of Entity?.

huh,this tut is Halo2,and that map is Coagulation, a H2 map. H2 also has a campaign :roll:
