Halo 2 wasn't created off the halo 1 engine... thats why it took longer to make.wr0ng3 off5et wrote:halo 1 maps won't work in insolince since its based of halo 1 engine wouldn't be compatible.

tried that. didnt work. even after i decompressed the map with dothalo. insolence cusses me out and tells me it hates me if i try to load a stubbs mapshade45 wrote:has anyone tried transfering tags from a stubs the zombie map to a halo2 map with insolence?
yep. a lot of the plugins worked. i tried modding some of the maps and some stuff worked and some didnt. i made a bipd change and it only changed the bipd's in the cinematic scenes. i turned the damage, range, and force on the gut gernade and that worked fine.Snave wrote:It uses the halo1 engine this is why you can open it with dothalo, because dothalo supports the halo1 map file format.
unfortunately dothalo crashes if i try to look at any of stubb's bitmaps
also i noticed that when you recompress a stubbs map it makes it smaller than it was origionally. but the map still loads
on a side note i heard from someone that farklem(creator of dothalo) is making, or has already made, another editor that supports stubbs and other games too

I'm not so sure I understand why you have it out for me to begin with, but I can assure you that I will never release another halo related thing on this site again so you won't have to worry about accidentally stumbling across anything that might be mine. Thanks for showing your appreciationHEADTRAUMA wrote:xbox7887 wrote:Heh, then maybe he should think about where some or most of his plugins came frommrhyperpenguin wrote:he's defending xenowisp, trying to burn you by telling you to make better plugins.
