Utility: .max to .obj convertor w/o 3DS Max

This should be in Utilities, I know, and it will be when an administrator deems it worthy to be put there.
It's called "3D Exploration", and it is a stand-alone applet that, among other things, can be used to convert .max files into .obj files. This would be very helpful for gmax users who can't use too many filetypes.
As far as I know, it is the only one of its kind.

i have milk shape 3d that supports a lot of files, obj to a 3ds compatible.

This will work without needing 3dsmax 6. And I don't think milkshape supports .max

ya milkshape doesn't, but it works the other way around.. from obj to a max.

There's a topic in Utilities about it, max2obj and obj2max.
Yeah, this will help the gmax users, but I'll stick with max.

OK, but how do I export Halo models from Halo or Halo CE without losing the UV coordinates. HMT3 exports the models with the normals flipped, and the UV's totally corrupted and useless.

ummm,i got it to b a wavefront .obj but, i know it wont work with hmt when i try to import but,u said it was spark edit,can u tell me how to do it in sparl edit? plz!!!

I need a program that can export the .obj as well, I have milkshapr but it is just too hard to use, lightray doesn't work and I cant find out what to do with the blender plugins.
