I really like the NXE.
Avatar´s are great, just the selection is a bit small.
Then the Community Games ... which are not yet started in Germany -_-
And the option to install a game is great, but most games are not made for this and still things blop up (Mass Effect, GTA IV).

But all in all ... I really like it.

If you are talking about the avatar gamerpics, I don't think so. I'm pretty sure that once you create one it is uploaded to the LIVE servers where other people download it from. The data itself is stored in the profile save. So if you did mod it, likely you would be the only one to see the change.

However with themes this would not be an issue. I'm really hoping for a CON "premium theme."

I hate the shirts also, none of them is anything I'd ever wear...
I put the Black jacket, but that sweater with a turtle neck ruins it...

Overall, I love the NXE.

Pros:
-Avatar creator is cool
-Looks better
-More features

Cons:
-Keyvaults banned
-Some things that were fast are now ridiculously slow

Mine kinda looks like me...Lack of choices for glasses, facial hair, and clothes kinda disappointed me. :/

the selection is very small. needs some scruffy facial hair and more shirts. You should also be able to change the color of the shirts...hopefully they will do that.

Anyone know how to customize themes on the NXE?
i like the night theme with the black bottom bit but i would like a different background pictuture such as a screenshot i might take in halo 3.

Wait till you can unlock one in a game. You aren't going to get anywhere trying to resign a LIVE file.

I don't think that is what he's asking.
With the old dashboard, you could use any image you wanted as the background image. I think he is asking how to mix a custom background with existing parts of themes, such as how you could change the dash backgrounds, guide backgrounds, and blade styles independently of each other on the classic dashboard.

Exactly my question.
The lower part of the main dash where its all white with the xbox360 logo is what i want to change, i would rather it be black like in the night theme than all the rest of the standard themes.

Although I have no use for, or access to, I think that if they gave you a new article of clothing for every game you purchase that is unique to that game. Say you buy Mirror's Edge, you get that killer face tattoo thing, and Halo 3, Helmet, shirt, or flaming head.

I changed mine to actually look more like me >_>
The metallic shades were the closest I could find to rectangular glasses.

Also Cuda that's an awesome idea. If you buy Gears of War 2 you should have the ability to curb stomp other avatars.
