Edit 2 : To show off your avatar all you need to do is take the URL "http://avatar.xboxlive.com/avatar/GAMER ... r-body.png", and replace GAMERTAG with...well, your gamertag.

I don't know what to say. I downloaded the Destroyed Beauty theme because it's a landscape pack, and as a landscape, there is less specific items that will be obscured by the large tiles of the dashboard. No faces/focal points getting cut off. It's much more ambient than a theme with a particular subject. Also, it has vehicles and stuff behind people on the friends list.

EDIT: It's pretty cool. Decided to get the Halo Wars premium theme.

I'm glad they let us remove games from our history now that we have no achievements on. All those 0's were annoying to look at.

Avatars aren't bad... then again I really didn't care about them in the first place.

I'm installing Gears 2 to see how it runs at the moment. I'm gonna need to get another HDD soon... >_>

(to the post below mine) Red, I was having that problem too. I just restarted my Xbox and the marketplace worked fine.

1680x1050 support is horrible. Nothing looks Full-res, and its constantly letterboxed.
It seems more Like a lazy 1080p downscale.

Not enough avatar parts or color options.

I am still trying to get used to where everything is and they really need to optimize the download of custom gamerpics because it takes forever and can make it seem like the system froze.

I'm really hoping some future game will have an unlockable "premium" theme with some sort of animation, because then it will be a CON and we can make our own "premium" themes (or at least those of us with a working KV

)!!

Yeah that would be interesting. Also expect custom gamerpics to pop up a lot once a new KV goes public.

Fuck yes. I hate that stupid KUF: Circle of Doom shit that my friend played on my Xbox once. God it's an annoying game.

Anything on the issue I posted about previously in the Cafe? Can someone try it and tell me for sure that it will exit the game when you remove the disc?

I like it, but it just takes too long to get from place to place. Also, some tiles take for-fucking-ever to load.

Otherwise it's good. I love being able to private chat with multiple people.

I like the way the fable and halowars ones look. I agree that the are a little expensive though.
