HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

It seems all my friends have 360s only. I have both, and there are some damn good games on the PS3 which I am only able to play alone (more or less).

Does anyone on HaloMods happen to own a PS3? If so, post back here with your PSN name please. Mine is "mxrider" (the same as my XBL).

I look forward to some MGO, MotorStorm, LBP, or Warhawk with you guys.

HEY, PS3 is a Fine console, its just expensive.

the only reason i got a 360 was because of halo and the price tag, otherwise i could have just stayed with the Sony trend.

I'm ashamed of anyone who thinks the PS3 is a POS, It's actually a very good system.

We also have enough sense not to bash someone who's asking for help.

Having not played LBP, but having heard some good Reviews, go for it, but I would rent both first, to see if you like them, that's always the best way.

Nice. Yeah, $400 is really a waste of money for something which would cost you at least twice that in a PC. It's not like Sony is losing money on every console they se...oh wait.

I love my 360, but I have had to get it replaced 5!! times due to the RROD. My PS3? Completely silent, runs cool, and I've never had a single problem since launch day. Hardware wise the PS3 is quite superior (and in my opinion warrants the extra cash, considering ive spent more than the difference just on 360 repairs).

Plus the PS3 has some really good games you aren't going to get on the 360 such as Motorstrom, Warhawk, MGS4, Resistance, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone 2, etc.

Thanks for the support, but if you read my post I actually have both games. I'm just trying to find others on here who do as well, because I don't have anyone I know for some co-op.

no I don't have one yet, but I'm hoping to get one for Christmas along with MGS4

agreed, but that is kind of a narrow-minded statement. It isn't just xbox owners who bash PS3s, it goes both ways most of the time.
