Command & Conquer Generals cheats

I am personally a big fan of the Command & Conquer series but i'm getting irritated by one game in the series in particular: Command & Conquer Generals. i have reached a haultpoint in the game in the China7 mission(in other words, i'm getting pwnd and overrun before i can build a base). I've done my fair share of research and tried a few dozen suggestions but none have proven useful. Can anyone help me with this problem? [side note: trainers do not function correctly, direct game data editing(weapons cost) does not help, and most hints and tricks fail due to the fact that, in order to use them, you must have a base.]
