Do you play Inverted or Default
i play normal, and i think the 'lean' argument for inverted is kinda dumb. if i were going to aim for the sky, i'd mainly move the gun and look up, not lean my whole body backwards.
overall, it doesn't really matter much, you can still aim with both.

ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

You don't lean your head back to look up? Damn, you must have fantastic field of view. My reasoning behind Inverted wasn't even supported by "leaning your whole body". There's no point in insulting my reasoning; and using incorrect logic to do is even more pointless. That said, the fact remains - Everyone plays and feels it differently. To me, the "leaning" factor feels more natural. I wasn't trying to impose the idea. To others, the concept of a less personal, "looking" factor feels more natural. It's a matter of personal preference; and I was simply stating mine with a reason to back it up.[cc]z@nd! wrote:and i think the 'lean' argument for inverted is kinda dumb. if i were going to aim for the sky, i'd mainly move the gun and look up, not lean my whole body backwards.
On a side note: As far as inverted looking goes in game.. aside from Wii first person shooters, most console games do make their avatar lean back and forward when the player looks up and down. They do that because it looks more natural, rather than having the player throw its arms up and down and shooting, rather looking up and down as well during the aiming process.

Sorry if that came across a little harsh, but please don't insult my reasoning.

For the longest time I played normal, then I picked up Halo 2 or something and it was set on invert; I got confused, but eventually adapted. I always use inverted on consoles now, but normal on PC. My friends are always annoyed when they come over to play, because all my games are set to invert.
I think Noobraska is a pretty cool state. eh grows corn and doesn't afraid of anythng.

I agree, that is why I almost never fly in Battlefield 1942, I lack a joystick and trying to fly a plane with an inverted mouse just feels weird.Kirk wrote:Well yeah, flying games are another story, I play inverted there as well, as it's more natural (you'd pull back on the joystick to go up, so...).
