Im getting a 360 tomorrow and i have 600 dollars do spend.

I was wondering which 360 i should get, the regular, the one with the hard drive, or the elite?

I'd get the Elite.

i'd get the one with the harddrive and use the remainder to spend on as much games as you can get your hands on.

Does anyone know if the price drop on the elite was true or not? I tried searching for info on google, couldn't find anything.

Really though, this is a horrible question to ask people. It doesn't matter what everyone else likes, it matters what you need.

Do not get Core, ever. Just don't do it.
Premium comes with an HDMI port and a 20gb hard drive.
Elite comes with an HDMI port and 120gb hard drive.
A 120gb hard drive alone is $170.
If you want the bigger hard drive, you save $70 buying Elite.
If you don't want the bigger hard drive, you save $100 buying Premium.

Honestly, it comes down to whether you need the extra space or not. If I had the opportunity, would I buy the larger? Yes. However, this opinion does not affect you in any way. Decide for yourself, based on your needs.

Get the halo themed xbox , Idk, I have a normal xbox 360 and its fine, the elite is good though, just make sure you don't blow all your cash on xbox appliances lol.

I thought of that, but then I thought it would be easier if I had opinions on which was better/which crapped out more. I had my mind set on the elite because I knew I had enough money, but I decided to think about my decision for once in my life, & thanks for the prices Tural.

Think of it this way. 20 GB is plenty. You will not use HDMI and HDMI cables 100+ bucks. The Elite is a glorified Premium. I have a premium. Get that box , and some games for it. Trust, you'll be much happier with a box with a great selection of games than a box with a bit better resolution and more space (to do what? you can play music off your comp to the 360 same goes for videos and photos, and demos; who the hell will download 120 GB of demos???).

Honestly, even technically the Elite sucks. They didn't improve the manufacturing process. Still as much heat generated.

At this point, your Xbox 360 shouldn't die on you simply because they no longer use the cheap solder they used to to connect the GPU to the board.

mmkay then, i have made my choice and have decided to get a premium.
