360 media sharing

I was wondering if there was any way to stream my computer's media other than Windows Media Player 11. I've tried a program called 'Orb', but it takes up a lot of CPU and I don't like how I have to register for services I'm not going to use in order to use it.
Any other programs that can stream media to my 360? Also, is there a way I can use the
old Windows Media Connect? It was much simpler than using WMP.

As far as I know, the only way to officially stream media is with a PC using Windows XP/Vista Media Center Edition (or a version of Vista with the Media Center program).

Even if I had one, I wouldn't use it.

You can still only stream non-DRM videos and only specific formats. TVersity will convert any video format on-the-fly and stream it to your console.

nice, didnt know that....downloading now....heres a link for anyone who wants it
http://tversity.com/download/
Edit: a friend of mine just downloads or transfers all his media to a 200 gigusb hdd, and connects that to his 360 for 'streaming' (i know its not streaming, but its also very noob user friendly), and this could be done even with a usb key, I just bought a 2 giger for $27

Orb works fine for me, as far as I can tell it doesn't slow my computer down...

Whats wrong with WMP11?
Cicking that "share my media" button doesn't sound too difficult to me but I guess I don't know the situation full well before maing assumptions.
