Here is my first custom made face plate i did this afternoon i plan on making more just as soon as i can find more white face plates to dink around with, tell me what you think

yes it is glossy so its really reflective.

the green is like a UNSC Marine Green and the blue is like a Covie Blue it looks really bright colored in this cause it had alot of light on it i will run it through photo shop so u can see it better.

and with the power button and ring covered when it boots up it glows green and blue its really cool, and the IR still works amazingly with it being covered no lag in the the button delay!

it is halo related, i did it for the game because i thought it would look cool which it does it looks almost camo like

It looks just fine, a little to glossy though.
Once I get a new xbox and my warranty runs out I will get a professional air brush paint job for free from my cousin. My black xbox was just painted with a textured glossy black spray paint, which doesn't work to well with plastic because it doesn't bond with it. Something broke on the mother board inside it and if we can't find out what. I'll buy an elite instead of the premium if we can't get Microsoft to fix it. they might fix it for, my neighbors uncle had a broken 360 with all sorts of modifications done to it and they sent a brand new one that has never been taken out of its book to him for only $20.

EDIT: it's not forruner its covenant. what else would you suggest to put there, I don't like it much either.

dude what type of paint would bond with the 360 plastic cover? i'm planing to paint it pure black to go with the new blk controller i bought so what type of paint should it be?

and about your broken 360...did you remember to well...to take the plastic off so the paint didn't go inside the 360 and ruin the hardware?

of course i did here is the topic i posted a year ago.

(I never did get to do the chrome Xs but I did do the neon until the power converter blew  )
Something came loose in one of the connectors. I completely took out the motherboard and thats where the sound seems to be coming from, and yes the xbox still runs with out the case but don't touch the xbox's insides once you turn it on as it can damage the hardware.
my cousin owns a paint shop and he uses airbrushes which bond to plastic so if you don't want to pay some one to do it I would suggest Krylon plastic paint which can be found at home depot and lowes
If you need help you can pm and I'll give you some tips and tell you how to open up you xbox (which voids your warranty so only do this if you really want to but theres no other way to paint it)

use plastic adhering spray paint if you go that path but just remember if u do more than one coat to not put alot on or it will bubble the paint and it will peel but the paint that i used looks great i just re did it too i removed the paint on the ring of light and the power light so it shines all the way through it came out great!
