The Lost little Planet

Hey, Halo 3, GoW, Viva Pinata and the like have all gotten their special little topics, so why not Lost Planet? Can't leave Capcom out in the... cold.
Ar har har har.
Anyways, I picked this little guy out off the street Saturday, and I finally played the first few levels on Monday night. I must say, I am pleasantly surprised.
I played the demos and they were on the warm side of "Meh." The multiplayer sucked, mostly due to networking problems that could have been me, but the singleplayer has rocked my s0x so far.
I am on (or around) level 3, and it just keeps me going. I like all of it so far.
There are just a few things that do bug me. One of them being how hard it is to kill puny little humanoids when you're in the "Vital Suit" mecha shizzle.
A gattling gun, a freaking gattling gun, can dish out about five to ten bullets and the people are still running about yelling "Mama!" in a Mario-esque style.
Another is how unresponsive the reload is on some weapons. I click the stick, and I go to shoot, and what do you know? No ammo. Gotta reload. *reloads* then shoots but only if my torso is at a certain angle.
One thing I must say Capcom handled (which I was VERY surprised at) was unexpected glitches. (I guess they were somewhat suspected, because the game handled it well.)
I was on the second level, raiding the "Snow Pirates"'s base, (It all belongs to me now.) and I got hit in the air with a rocket. Well, needless to day, I went FLYING across the map, and pretty much was about to fall to my death down a bottomless pit, when Wayne (Last name Bruce?..) shot his little grapple thing, and let me 'lower' myself back onto the ledge.
I was quite surprised it didn't just start the level over like I had died, died. So, high five to Capcom on that one.
Anyone else have it? How do you like it so far? Is the online play good too?
