I just got this game for christmas. Awesomely enough, (yes awesomely is a word ever since I said it was) my brother got it too, so we started jamming. Well, my brother started jamming... I started getting one of out every eight notes right. However, me and my sister just played about two and a half hours straight of this game. I promise you, I am feeling kind of freaky... Anyways, it is an awesome game and I totally recommend it.

Yeah I played Guitar Hero 1 and it was awesome. Guitar Hero II is supposed to be so much more cooler.

My brother got it a few months ago, and after playing it for 20 minutes, I was hooked. Surprisingly enough, I don't play guitar and I was still pretty good.

Yep i got that game too. My brother plays a guitar but i beat him in Guitar Hero.

i used to play guitar, and somehow i am really pretty good at this on medium...

Yeah, I got Guitar Hero 2 for Christmas, and it's awesome. Too bad you need another controller for Multiplayer of any kind (though I don't exactly see a way around that.)

I played it for the first time today over a friend's house. Guitar Hero 1 and 2 are almost exactly the same thing. Just different songs and a few more characters, and one or two new guitars. Whoo. Still freakin fun though, I can't wait until it hits the 360 (I don't own a PS2)

They should make a version where you can play with a real guitar, like for advanced players.

I agree... I got GH 2 for x-mas as well... At sight i thot the game would suck... after playing it however, it gets fun, and kind of addictive... ONE MORE SONG!!!!
I play guitar and I think it kinda relates to real guitar in a way... but most of it... no... I personally think that they should have put more buttons.. I dont know, maybe 2 per fret down to like the 5th or 6th...
Anyways, I'm on expert, FINALLY!!! It took me about 4 nights in a row of playing -yes it got addictive- and then i got to expert. And if any of you know the oncore for stone-henge... i didnt find it that hard... it seemed like they acted like it was a challenge or something... .... i dont know... I love this game!

i cant wait till it comes out for xbox 360 because i've played it at friends houses and other places and its so much fun,

also they announced that they're releasing it for the 360 and theres gonna be lots of new features like with the marketplace there will be "endless possibilities" for downloadable content, and that the guitar will probably be wireless

I can hardly play on Hard.. that orange button really gets me!

ya it certainly takes a while to get your finger to get down there and stuff... Just takes practice...

I prefer the real deal over a cheap imatateor(sp?).

Me too. It's way more fun to chainsaw people in real life as opposed to Gears of War.

It's called a game, buddy. They are not trying to imitate or replace real guitar.

Within the next two hundred years, the famous Electric Guitar will be replaced by a plastic version of itself, only you will push buttons instead of strings and frets. The strings will be replaced by a white button that you move to strum.
I call this game Guitar Karaoke.
