I'm going to go ahead and say that this won't really concern campaign. That's something to work out with specific people, not just a general group.
Standard multiplayer supports 16 players, Forge supports 8. We can use Forge variants in custom games, however. If you make something you want to use, throw it up on your File Share and the host can use it for the game.
Game types:
Slayer, Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, Oddball, Infection, VIP, Juggernaut. (Don't think I missed any)
Maps:
Guardian, Last Resort, High Ground, Valhalla, Snowbound, Construct, The Pit, Isolation, Narrows, Sandtrap, Epitaph.
Any particular gametypes that anyone wants to play?

Now that I see this, I can tell it really isn't going to be organized. What it's going to come down to is "Everyone get online on this day and we'll shout out things to do as we go." Trying to schedule and coordinate 16+ people online isn't going to work out. So yeah, let's set a date and whoever wants to play can just show up. If we go over the 16 player limit, I'll boot the people I hate.

if we play my soccer game then it has to be after a verient cause the two lowest scoring people will be the reffs.

I'd love to play with people on here. Tural, maybe you could make asemble a list of gamertags of people who are definitely going to be playing and those who might be playing. Maybe you could talk to everyone, decide what gametypes we'll be playing and on what maps and set them up before we actually play. That way it'll be a little more organized and people can make their maps before the weekend after Halo 3's release. Or if you don't want to do it, whoever else can.
But it'd be something like:
Game 1: Slayer, Snowbound
Game 2: Team Slayer, Valhalla
Game 3: CTF, High Ground
Game 4: Infection, Isolation
and so on, so on.
But if this is gonna happen, we need a host with a good connection that will be willing to play for all the games, we'd need a scheduled game time (not that it has to end at a certain point, just so the host will stay at least that long), a compiled list of gamertags of people that will be definitely playing, a list of gamertags that might be playing, the confirmed list of gametypes followed by their maps, and if people will be using forge maps, then it'd probably have to be pre-scheduled (not that it has to be, just for organization purposes). I don't mean to be just coming in from nowhere and trying to run this, I just wanted to help the organizers.

this is very unlikely but i can host if i get my 360 copy of halo 3 and xbl hooked up before then, i doubt it but its possible but i prefer that i be a last resort because me hosting is chancey and id pretty much do whatever the mods that are logged in say because they can do whatever they want to my account.

Mike. Until you have some solid plan, just stop saying you can do this and that if you get it. Talk when you have something to show for your efforts. It doesn't matter if you might be able to do stuff, we need people who will be able to do stuff.
