Fall 2007 Dashboard Update

I am not a huge fan of this update. It made my 360 froze a couple times when trying to go to the guide and the dashboard loads a bit slow. Though I like the fact that they sped up the guide button UI so it shows up quicker.

I notice no difference UI wise, but the speed does seem slightly faster, yes. Note, I have not visited the dashboard at all, only the guide. That's probably why ;oP

The guide has been freezing for me since today, a lot.

It's frozen twice so far for me...I was just trying to see a friend's games played and it couldn't handle it or something...

i wouldnt blame this on the update my 360 freezes in scenarios like this quite frequently and this is prior to updating.

I like the update and all, but when I tried to download the TV Spot for Mass Effect, it says my account can't download files of that rating. I've got a 'child' account I think, but all of the parental control things say I should be able to do, basically, whatever I please (I know because I logged into it and checked). Does anyone else have this problem/know how to fix it?

They deleted my question (which hadn't been posted before...unless it had been....and deleted) about the news...The news sounded really kool

Not that big a deal I spose but I dislike missing out on major features (see: video marketplace)

Made my dashboard really slow (with the exception of a couple pages)... I haven't tried using it in a while.

Ditto. I've been finding it slow, trying to load too much content at once I guess, with all the added personal info, the friends list stuff, etc etc.

I think it's only locked up on me once though.

Well, for me it's been great. Every thing's moving alot faster and smoother now, most noticeably the guide. I haven't had any freezing issues. Yet.

Same with me. I've noticed some occasional slowdowns, but I think the big thing is that there were always some occasional slowdowns, and I don't think the majority of them were caused by this update. Hasn't frozen at all yet.

I really don't want to find out on December 11th that I can't download the new Halo 3 maps.
