Edit: Also, there's an interesting story about that ground texture. The first half was started ages ago and was then thrown into a nasty old folder where it got abused by all the .dds files who made fun of him because he was a .png and didn't have an alpha. Then one day I came along and finished him off and gave him a wonderful alpha which made him look beautiful. All the other .dds files didn't like this because they didn't look as nice in their alpha channels, so they all ganged up on a30_b.dds and beat him up and left him all alone andcorrupted because they were jealous. Then a30_b.psd came along and repaired him, and deleted all the nasty guys who beat him up. a30_b.dds went into Halo and has never been happier. As for the nasty .dds files, they never left the recycling bin again.
Told you it would be interesting.
For anybody still wondering where FTD has gone, here it is.

As for the question, I suppose I should have read the first post all the way through... :X
As for the answer, I honestly think Halomods could be completely devoid of modding by the end of 09...people will mostly hang out in the Cafe in threads much like this one just to talk to their online acquaintances, and many a member will leave due to overall inactivity; only the faithful will stay with the site and only the extremists will stay with modding in general after most/all of the active modding ceases.
